WHAT IS AIKIDO?
AIKIDO is a Japanese martial art. Its roots rich back until the Middle Ages. AIKIDO was developed by the Japanese Morihei Ueshiba who was a recognized master in all important Budo disciplines. He combined techniques from the different martial arts, special from the stick and sword fight and developed new movements from this.

Besides the physical training the intellectual training and concentration stands in the center. Aim is not encountering an attack by a bare physical strength and fight but compensating and harmonizing for the contrary poles.

THE TRAINING COVERS:
Keep fit, stretching and breathing exercises, unfold and the practice of the real AIKIDO movements. Depending on degree of the progress, at first they get slow, executed later always more dynamically and movement more intensively.
There is neither winners nor losers and therefore also no competition in the AIKIDO since the one of the idea of the harmony would contradict.
For AIKIDO none pass ahead putting actions gene what concerns sportsmanship, strength, sex and ages.

HOW DO YOU PRACTICE?
